Radiography & Ultrasonography

What Are Radiographs?

Radiographs (or X-rays) are a well-known medical tool for human medicine, and they work very well with pets and animals as well. If your pet has an injury or disease in their bones, abdomen or chest area, radiographs will be an excellent method for closer examination and help our staff provide a better diagnosis.

What Is an Ultrasound?

You're likely familiar with the role of ultrasounds in pregnancy, where these high-frequency sound waves are used to give parents and their medical specialists a better look at the developing baby inside its mother. However, ultrasounds can also be used for other medical purposes, including examination and diagnosis of the state of internal organs. This procedure works for animals just like it does for people
